We're still doing strata...but I promise these are the last units. Next part starts putting the blocks together.

Using 1 complete strips and 1 5" section of Dark and 2 complete strips and 2 5" sections of Medium...attach Medium strips to either side of Dark strips...press seams toward Medium fabric. (Diagram 3.1)

Check measurement across strata in multiple places...should be 6-1/2" wide.

Using 2 complete strips and 2 5" section of Light...attach to either side of units from step#1...press seams toward Light fabric. (Diagram 3.2)

Check measurement across strata in multiple places...should be 10-1/2" wide.

Cut strata from step#3 into 18 2-1/2" units...set aside and mark as Section C .

Using 2 complete strips and 1 5" section of Neutral and 4 complete strips and 2 5" sections of Light...attach Light strips to either side of Neutral strips...press seams toward Neutral fabric. (Diagram 3.3)

Check measurement across strata in multiple places...should be 6-1/2" wide.

Using 4 complete strips and 2 5" section of Medium...attach to either side of units from step#6...press seams toward Light fabric. (Diagram 3.4)

Check measurement across strata in multiple places...should be 10-1/2" wide.

Cut strata from step#8 into 34 2-1/2" units...set aside and mark as Section D .
