I'm going let you figure out the direction of the seams. I might consider pressing them open, or not pressing them until you start joining the rows in Part#6. Watch the orientation of the blocks. You know I'm not going to do this so that it makes sense right now, so be very careful!

Using 8 Log Cabin blocks...create 2 rows as shown. Mark as Row 1. (Diagram 5.1)

Using 8 Log Cabin blocks...create 4 rows as shown. Mark as Row 2. (Diagram 5.2)

Using 8 Log Cabin blocks...create 2 rows as shown. Mark as Row 3. (Diagram 5.3)

Using 6 Log Cabin blocks and 2 Bright Log Cabin blocks...create 2 rows as shown. Mark as Row 4. (Diagram 5.4)

Take the width of Row 1...create 2 strips from Border#1 fabric : 1-1/2"xwidth of the row. If your blocks are exactly on, this measurement should be 64-1/2". Attach these strips to Row#1 as shown, pressing toward the Border strip. (Diagram 5.5)
