Path and Stiles
This block is the most complicated one I've put up yet. You will need four fabrics: a WOW, a light print and a coordinating medium and dark. And unfortunately, we are doing half-triangles again...only four. We will be making this one 9" finished.

Sample Quilt Layouts
You need to cut as follows:
- WOW: cut 2 4" squares
- Light Print: cut 2 sections 15-1/2" x 1-1/2"; cut 1 section 3" x 1-1/2"
- Medium: cut 2 4" squares
- Dark: cut 1 section 15-1/2" x 1-1/2"; cut 2 sections 3" x 1-1/2"
Sewing Instructions:
- To make the corner units, mark diagonal on WOW squares; place right sides together and stitch 1/4" on either side of diagonal mark; cut between stitching; press toward medium fabric; square up to 3-1/2"

- Stitch 1 section of 15-1/2" light print to either side of same size dark fabric; press toward dark fabric; cut 4 pieces 3-1/2"; last piece should be 1-1/2"

- Stitch 1 section of 3" dark fabric to either side of same size light print; press toward dark fabric; cut into 2 1-1/2" pieces
- Join 3 sections of 1-1/2" pieces together to create center nine-patch; press towards outside rows

- Join units together to create the block as shown

- IMPORTANT: Please square up your finished block to be sure it is 9-1/2". If it is larger o smaller, check your seams and redo if necessary. If you do not check your measurements, your block may not join properly with other blocks easily to create a finished quilt.
This is what your block might look like.
