mosaic bw Block
Mosaic Block

I liked this block when I first found it, but passed it by because it looked very difficult. As it turned out...wasn't very difficult at all. You just have to be careful when sewing as a number of the seams are on the bias. You will need 4 fabrics: a background, a light, a medium/dark and a bright for accent. Don't let the block fool you...it is made up of 4 small units all the same. We will be making this one 12" finished.

  6. IMPORTANT: Please square up your finished block to be sure it is 12-1/2". If it is larger or smaller, check your seams and redo if necessary. If you do not check your measurements, your block may not join properly with other blocks easily to create a finished quilt.

This is what your block might look like.
